Congressman Edcel Lagman has tendered his resignation as the head of the Committee on Appropriation. This will again delay the committee hearings for the social pension bill in the House of Representatives. While there is no replacement, the bill will not move. The old people are planning to have more actions to push the legislators to take immediate action.
